City Market

The last few weekends the family and I have gone to Kansas City's City Market.
Not only is it a great place to get fresh produce, but it's an awesome place to watch
people...which is
one of my favorite things to do.

Here's a few pictures from last weekend's trip to "the market." I'm sure there will
be many more trips to come. (click on each photo to go to my Flickr page to see it large, etc.)

City Market sax
This guy was playing his sax all morning. The guitar player was accompanying him. (sorta :o) )

In the market
There's always good deals on flowers and lots of people.

In tow
I couldn't help but laugh at this poor guy "in tow."

City Market crowd
Again...always LOTS of people to be found here.

Shady coffee
This gal had found a shady place to rest. She was on her phone, playing with her
iPod, and letting her iced coffee get watered down. What a crime. LOL

redness
Yes, I know, selective color is so "yesterday." But this is how I saw this photo when I took it.
Here was this lady in all her "redness" amongst a sea of gray.

Seat for Joe
A couple of bar stools from my favorite little coffee shop at the market.
These folks make the BEST iced coffees.

cold storage
I don't know why, but this building always grabs my attention every time we go.

Hammer Bros
It thought this was interesting. Guess you could say that their name makes an impact.
(couldn't resist the pun.)

He went that way...

He went that way

I thought this photo fitting for my first post. My first blog. Having most of my photos in one place for the first time. This is a new direction for me. Taking my love for photography/art "public." Until now I have shared my photography only with friends, family, and an occasional "client." I'm looking forward to this new adventure!

Look for more posts in the future with photos from my various outings, sessions with clients, and things that I find amusing/entertaining.
